A contemporary pizzeria on Lothian Road, Fired Dough celebrates fire and craftsmanship at every turn. MSR guided the project from the initial site survey through the statutory process, securing listed building consent, the premises licence and the building warrant, while delivering the full interior design, materials sourcing, 3D modelling and architectural visualisation. Our team carried out regular site inspections and worked closely with contractors to ensure the design was realised precisely as intended.
At the heart of the restaurant is the stone-fired pizza oven, framed by warm LED-lit slatted walls that echo the glow of the kitchen. A lush green wall showcases the illuminated Fired Dough emblem, while crystal-cut pendant lights, a striking Verde marble worktop and plush velvet seating create a bold and inviting atmosphere. The design continues into the bathrooms, finished in jewel onyx marble tiles with a sculpted gold basin and backlit mirror, completing an experience as memorable as the food itself.
