MSR Architecture & Design is an Edinburgh-based architecture and design practice delivering distinctive residential and commercial projects across the UK and internationally.
Our approach brings together creative design, technical expertise and a clear understanding of planning and regulatory processes to guide projects from initial concept through to completion. With particular expertise in the commercial sector, we create considered spaces that balance character, functionality and enduring design.
MSR is led by Mohammed Rahman. Mohammed is a BIID Registered Interior Designer® and an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), bringing together interior design and architectural technology expertise under one practice.
From architectural design and planning permission to building warrants, listed building consent and interior design, our multidisciplinary approach allows us to consider every aspect of a project as part of one cohesive vision.
Founded and led by Mohammed Rahman, a CIAT Affiliate progressing towards Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) status and a BIID Registered Interior Designer®, MSR combines architectural and interior design expertise with a practical understanding of project delivery.
We believe great architecture goes beyond how a space looks — it should respond to its context, work effortlessly for the people who use it, and stand the test of time.
Based in Edinburgh, our work extends across Scotland, throughout the UK and internationally.
